At a freezing -18F, this was the scene that greeted us all the first day of our winter photography meetup on New years Day at Garden Of The Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was however gorgeous in spit of freezing our butts off, and the light was really clean and pure. It has been a sort of annual tradition for all us to get together and shoot on New Years Day, as no one is around and it is so quiet, allowing freedom to shoot places that are often filled with people. Pikes Peak lies in the center of the shot with the famous “Kissing Camels” to the far right.
